The Path: Breast Cancer Awareness Prints
Well, as some of you may or may not know, my Aunt Diana has been battling breast cancer. So far, so good, but chemo just started and all of those medical bills are starting to pile up. Being 3,000 miles away, and pretty poor, there’s very little that I can do to help. Except, y’know, draw. That’s where these come in. I’m selling these as high-gloss prints for $5, with every cent raised going to help my aunt pay for her ever-increasing medical bills. Shipping is $2 (the cheapest I could do and still have them show up in one, uncrumpled piece).
I know a few sales of a $5 may not amount to much, but growing up, she was always more of a big sister to me than an aunt, so this is really important to me and any help would be greatly appreciated! Long Beach Comic Con
We’re doing it. Like hyper bunnies eating Viagra-frosted corn flakes, we’re doing that con.
Long Beach Comic Con is October 2-4, 2009 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Myself, Zac, Joey, and Carly will be there doing sketches, selling swag, and generally being loud and obnoxious.
The Path table and the Mediocre Militia table will be right next to eachother…just like the good old days.
Zac and Joey, if you need to ship stuff to my place, let me know. That way you can save the $50/bag crap on the airlines.
So…if you’re going to be in the Long Beach area that weekend, come by! We’re desperate for your attention!

HAPPY CTHURKEY DAY!
Happy Thanksgiving, my Mediocre brothers and sister in arms!
Hopefully, next year Zac and Joey will be making the trip to my place for their Turkey Day meal. That’s what me and the little lady are hoping for, anyways.
Oh, Barry, we can kick ourselves together, because I just set up shop over at Smackjeeves, too. I figured the more exposure, the better. I’m also waiting for my ComicGenesis account to finally get set up, too. I’m turning into just as big a whore as you are!

So…about a year or so ago, Barry Linck (Phineus: Magician for Hire) and Kevin Hayman (The Errant Apprentice) gave me the go ahead to muck about with their flagship characters and do a crossover with them and Chance from my comic, The Path. I was thrilled, as I am a huge fan of both their comics, and immediately penned a story. Then started working on pages. Then, because I’m me, life got in the way. Despite good intentions and excitement over the project, it fell by the wayside.
Well, now that I’m behind on The Path and playing some hardcore catch-up, this project started rearing it’s ugly head again in the back of my mind and won’t leave me alone.
Assuming that Barry and Kevin’s blessings remain, this crossover will return anew with the New Year. Because, quite frankly, few characters belong together more than a wizard, a modern-day knight, and the reincarnation of a certain once and future king.
Here is the cover mock-up I colored for practice tonight (someone discovered vector brushes…) in an insane bout of insomnia whilst my girlfriend slumbered peacefully.
I’m especially happy with Phineus in the back there for some reason.
And that’s that.
