Car insurance

It’s that time again.

Hey folks,

It’s Zac, just doing my yearly minor edits to the website. For those of you on here posting, the posts will now automatically post to our Facebook group and twitter account.

For the rest of you,
Dave, Joey, and I (I know for a fact)(maybe Riot too) will be attending Wizard World Texas in November.
I will be selling a real comic there. WOWoowoow I feel like a man, now.

Anyways, be sure to keep up with Riot and Barry’s insanity with the 30 characters a day thing.
I’d do it, but I need some extreme convincing.

Convention Plans for the upcoming year-

So. NakaCon is a bust.

I sent in my application after Texas, and received an email asking for a bio and samples. Awesome right? After sending that in, I waited for a confirmation that never came. Apparently this wasn’t an uncommon problem because their Facebook page is riddled with people waiting for the same thing. After FINALLY emailing someone who wasn’t even in charge of the artist alley floor, they forwarded my message to someone who could help.

lo and behold, they’re fully booked. They regretted that they were full but they were anxiously awaiting our application for the 2012 year. Needless to say, I am not impressed with how they handled this, and I dont believe that I’ll be submitting a 2012 application.

So with that said, what are we thinking for convention plans this year? I’m Going to be taking this quite seriously so I’m up and ready for anything. Wondercon (April 2-4) unfortunately is booked up, it would seem that it’s been full since may of this last year, BUT APE (October sometime) is still open, so I’m submitting an interest form. I think this would be a good one to go to, as it’s a big webcomic convention AND I’d be able to put people up in my place. I’ve also reserved us a table for WW Chicago, which it would seem is one of their biggest conventions. That one is mid August but space is going fast.

I’ll keep you guys posted, but let me know which conventions you would be interested in attending in your areas and we can see what we can get up and running.

Well the servers are down at work, so…

Yup. I figure I’ll take the opportunity to make my rare MM post. I guess I’ll share with you some of the doodles on post-its and whatnot I’ve been doing during some downtime at work.

This one was GOING to be an Id update, telling why I’ve been lax on updates, but I figured it was too whiny. NOT TOO WHINY FOR MM THOUGH. HAHA.

This next one was a quick sketch about the drive home.

Also, stubbing my toe.

And lastly, here’s one where I slowly turn into a fish.

This is what I do at work, people, when I’m not terribly busy. It’s hard to control the urge to sketch when you are as lazy about being actually productive as me. I figure, if I want to create something, why not? It’s so rare that I can’t justify quelling the urge.
